We Design Value: On a narrow in-fill site with an existing residence, K2A designed value through rigorous space planning, and achieved the client’s vision of an iconic building which houses 5 co-living suites, each with its own bathroom, living area, sleeping area, sufficient storage, and complementary common amenities, on a footprint barely over 1,000 sf. Over a very long design phase the spaces were refined to create ultimate efficiency, and with exceptional finishes, create an exquisite living experience, at a relatively low rental price point for the Los Angeles market.
We Value Design: By orienting the building perpendicular to the side property lines, the angle of the front of the property is emphasized through an iconic angular mass, which extends out from a floor to ceiling glass wall, to create an architectural moment which now defines the neighborhood. Through our rigorous interior space planning, the project financials allowed for a signature exterior design, proving the thesis that profitable developments can, and should have exceptional design.
