Education: Bachelor of Architecture degree with a minor in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo

Experience: Khal (short for Khaldoon) is an Architect by trade and an entrepreneur in spirit.  He leads K2A with a perpetually positive attitude and instills in his peers and staff a dedication to service, and excellence, in the practice of architecture.  Throughout his career Khal has many accomplishments, but his greatest asset is an innate ability to deliver value to the clients and projects of K2A.  Khal understands that architecture is not an isolated profession but is inherently connected to all aspects of real estate and development.  With Khal’s broad understanding of construction, development costs, building code, permitting and entitlement processes, and a rigorous standard for designing an excellent end product; the solutions and designs coming out of K2A are filtered through a comprehensive lens, to ensure each and every project delivers a holistically positive value for each and every client.

Extra: After relocating from Los Angeles to Carlsbad in 2023, Khal has kept his passion for architecture and the built environment alive through more hands on construction and personal development projects, and has recently started a Design-Build company, Cove Design Build, to expand his offering and provide Southern California a full turnkey home creation and renovation experience.
